Hi,
Here is the setup.
Router is Cisco 837 with active gateway and DHCP configured. 2 linksys access points and one D-link connected to the switch ports and DHCP is disables on all of them. All the APs have same SSID and password encryption etc. Will I be able to roam on WiFi network.
Thanks
Imran

Hi Imran,
If it is different vendor AP, I am not sure. You have to give it a try & see what is the behavior.
If it is Cisco AP (configured with PSK) then roaming will work in the given scenario.

Hi Imran,
in addition to Rasika I'd like to metion that is maybe a good idea to test every AP first but shutdown all others to make sure that they are working fine. When so, I would say from the theoretical perspective it should work whe the RF design allows that. So that the signals are good enough or bad enough for roaming. I mean the current connected AP is seen at the "new" location bad enough to let the client roam to a better AP.

Sebastian
