Hello Experts,
I know one AP can easily cover around 40 feet's in all directions.
I am thinking to install APs in building which got two floors and have bit confusion.
Should I just install AP on Roof over Second floor and do not need to add any AP on First floor as Roof is just 20 feet?
Should i just adding APs 40 feet away each other?
Is there any way i can do site survey before buying APs to determine exact location for APs?

how many AP ? you trying to install, if this is business critical suggest to make site survey for better coverage.
if this hit and run, you can try how it goes and add another if required (this is bit risk)

There is one flaw to this logic: "XX feet in all directions" also means there are no obstacles.
Concrete material, particularly pre-fabricated ones, "soak up" WiFi like sponge.
"Get a wireless site survey done correctly or do not bother putting WiFi" is always my response to client who wants to play "guessing games".
