Wireless Backhaul Encryption

I'm looking for some documentation with details on the security used when configuring an access point Root/Mesh pair.  All I can seem to find is that it uses AES encryption which I'm sure won't be enough details for the cyber team.  We use mostly IW3702 and some IW6300's with 5520 WLC and 8540 WLC.  I would like to find some more details on how the backhaul actually works if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks

I could also only find this little information here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/technology/mesh/8-6/b_mesh_86/Mesh_Deployment_Modes.html

If nobody else has more information, you could probably run a debug on the crypto engine (just guessing here) and should see a little bit more when an attached AP reboots and creates the backhaul.
