Wireless - Most clients connecting to one Access Point

Hi All ,

One of my client has over 80 users connecting via WIFI - AIR-CAP3702I-D-K9 . We have 3 AP deployed .
However from the last one month users are facing disconnection issues , on checking the logs I noticed it was because one particular AP was reaching the Maximum threshold . 52 users were connected to AP- 1 , around 10  users connected to AP-2 and barely 5 users connected to AP -3.

Kindly suggest me on what can be done to make the other AP'S resourceful . I have checked the positioning and it seems to be fine ,Tx is maximum for all 3 (1). Cisco 5508 WLC is being used .

Suggestions is greately appreciated

You could try client load balancing but some older clients might not react well to it from what I understand.

What software version do you run? I had a similar issue some time back and it turned out the 5 GHz radio would go silent on some APs and clients flocked to the APs that still offered 5 GHz. Reboot of the non 5 GHz APs solved things temporarily and a software upgrade fixed it permanently.
