Wireless over MPLS

Hi Guys, I have a WLC5508 (yes i know its old) My idea to install it in at our data center and fit the AP's at our branch offices

I'm a newbie to wireless any pointers or gotcha's i should now about

Not sure how your remote site arrangement, is the Layer 2  / Layer 3 / VPN ?

You can deploy AP at branch to use central WLC, make sure you have high availability between DC and Branch, if you lost connection, user can not use Wireless make sure you understand the Caveats here.

here simple design guide, i do have some deployment like yours, as long as connectivity taken take all works as expected

hey thanks balaji, my plan is create a vlan for the wireless and plug in the ap's, anuything else i need to worry about

As Long as WLC IP reachable to AP and AP able to register with  WLC is most important, follow the guidelines and test and advise.
