Wireless Survey Requirement

I want to conduct a wireless survey for cisco C9120AXI-E. Do I need a controller to accomplish the survey or I can just start the survey before deploying the controller, and if this is possible how should I do it?

@MAOsman yes you can only use the C9120 AP to perform the physical survey. Check this guide to convert it to AP with embedded controlelr to configure it with the same features and values you will use in the final deployment.

if this is large deployment i would suggest to use professional kit, the survey output can also be used in maps.
