Hi

In our one project there is one guest Network

we are using two wism2 controller in cisco switch 6500 series.and in  cisco Acess switches  are in floors in which cisco 1040 with integrated Antenna

for 1040 access point in switches the port should be trunk

first we have to create service port ip add

and then management add for wism and these two ip add should be in different subnets.

and the additional steps in 6500 series for wism controller

wism module number controller 1 allowed-vlan range

and the management vlan be native vlan always

for two wism2 module how to make  redundancy for two controllers

please guide the correct steps for implementation

To configure primary and Secondary on AP:

You must login to wlc where AP is connected,  then click on Wireless > All APs, click on specific AP. Go to High Availability Tab and enter here prim/sec WLC ip and name.

Thanks Sandeep.

After configuring the Wism modules we can access the web of these two controller 4404.

Could you please explain steps  how to make primary and secondary controller for the Acess points 1040.

And in our project we are using one more controller 5760 model and we are using Acess points 2602E model.

Could you please explain the difference between these two Acesspoints .

1 1040
