WLAN Failover - Different Subnets

All,

I have a requirement from a customer to setup WLAN resiliency.

Looking at Cisco documentation we can either setup Mobility Groups with 2 controllers in the same network, however I would like to have the AP to be able to register to a WLC hosted offsite and accessible via the WAN in a different network.

Setup

Site A - AP/WLC- 192.168.0.1/29

Connected via the WAN to...

...Site B - AP/WLC-  192.168.1.0/29

The AP and WLC are in the same Layer 2 network. We also have APs connected to the WLC using FlexConnect over the various WAN links we have. I understand with FlexConnect we can specify Primary, Secondary and Tertiary controllers?

I would like APs at either Site A or Site B to be able to failover to the WLC at the opposite site.

Is this possible and if so can anyone point me to some documentation?

Thanks

D
