WLC 3504 with 9120 AP and 3700 AP

I am wanting to know if the 3504 WLC will work with the 9120 AP and the 3700 AP.  According to this - 

cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/crn810mr4.html    It appears that it will.  Just curious because i know the age of the 3700 is going back a ways.

Hi Both AP models will work provided that you run the correct AireOS code (8.8 or higher), certain AP models started supporting in later versions, so make sure that you choose the correct AireOS. Also note that new 9124 outdoor AP's are not supported in 3504. Just to let you know that EOL is announced for both 3504 WLC and 3700 series AP's.
