I had unplugged the controller to move it, when it was plugged back in and started it back up it comes up with the following output.

Booting Primary Image...
Press <ESC> now for additional boot options...
bzImage Image Integrity Check Failed(Bad Header Checksum).Hanging

I also tried to select any of the other boot options but not matter which option I choose it comes up with

bzImage Image Integrity Check Failed(Bad Header Checksum).Hanging

I am assuming that the CF card has gotten corrupt, I put the card in a reader into a PC and it does show the partitions with the bzimage and initrd files.

Anyway to get the boot image files and move them a new CF card? I havent had this controller very long (used product, for lab use) would hate to have to fork out the cash for another one if theres's a way to recover it.

UPDATE: I was able to get the controller going again, replaced the onboard RAM module. The part numbers that were on the module showed as a 512MB PC2700S DDR 333MHz SODIMM. Found some used memory matching those specs and it booted right away. Its been working great for two weeks now. Looks like the known memory issue was the problem after all.

Hi,

may be You Are hittig a Bug , you can also raise a TAC case to get more info about isse:

http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCth93062

Dont think that bug code is revelent in this case as its for the Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers

and the software releases are not even close to what this controller was running.

error code is differnet as well the bug lists:

bzImage Image Integrity Check Failed(Bad Magic Number). Hanging

I am getting

bzImage Image Integrity Check Failed(Bad Header Checksum).Hanging

I am assusing that TAC wont even talk to me since there is no SmartNET on this.

Thanks for the reply though

If you can not raise a TAC acse, then you can try to call on customer care and ask about this problem.:
