I have been training to get this figured out and come to an end.

I have an internal SSID connected to management interface and works fine.

port 3

IP scope: 172.16.151.200

Sub: 255.255.252.0

Router/Gateway: 172.16.151.1

dhcp server: 172.16.151.15

works fine with internal wlan "Internal" with mac filtering

I setup a internal DHCP for guest with interface named "vlan100"

Port 1

IP: 192.168.100.254

sub: 255.255.255.0

gateway: 192.168.100.1

DHCP: 172.16.151.200

setup dhcp scope:

Pool start: 192.168.100.100

pool end: 192.168.100.200

network: 192.168.100.0

netmask: 255.255.255.0

default rotuer: 192.168.100.1

dns: 8.8.8.8

setup WLAN "guest"

select interface "vlan100"

on advanced, I have override selected

and enter 172.16.151.200

the client gets IP address: 192.168.100.100

but not internet and can't ping 192.168.100.1 or 172.16.151.200

I've attached all screenshots of configurations

what do I have wrong here?

Hi,

Why do you have overide selected and dhcp server 172.16.151.200? If you have dhcp on the wlc and on vlan 100, clients connecting to vlan 100 should get address from the local dhcp server.

Thanks

John

I selected it so I can get a separate IP scope for guest.

The 1st ssid gets ip scope from our domain server dhcp 172.16.148.x-172.16.151.x

I don't know how to get this working and providing internet, since I get IP scope from the controller internal dhcp 192.168.100.x
