Hello everyone,
I have a 5508 configured with multiple network connections using VLAN's and a Cisco 3750.
Port 1 -- Multiple SSID's on primary network connect to my nexus core.
Port 6 -- SSID 5 -- Internal Wifi ===> 192.168.2.X / 255.255.255.0
Port 7 -- SSID 6 -- Free Wifi (Guests) ===> 172.16.x.x / 255.255.248.0
Port 8 -- SSID 7 -- IT Wifi only ===> 192.168.1.X / 255.255.255.0
Port 5 -- SSID 4 -- Free Wifi (Employees) ===> 192.168.3.x / 255.255.255.0
Ports 5-8 are piped thru the 3750 and vlan'ed to separate the network segments and separate internet connections. Ports 6-8 work fine. For some reason, on port 5 it will not grab a DHCP address from its server, even though the WLC is configured the same way as ports 6-8. I've narrowed it down to the WLC, if I plug a laptop to any port on 3750 on the same vlan as port5, the DHCP server from the server works.
If I assign a static IP to my device, the connection works as well.
Any suggestions why the WLC won't let DHCP pass thru?

I would port-channel all these 8 ports and trunk all vlan across that ? What is the reason for physically use single port for each WLAN ?

You're right, there is no reason I couldn't pipe interfaces 5-8 thru one port to the 3750, and I'll probably do that once I resolve this issue.
The end result is for that interface 5, it still will not pull an if from DHCP from the server on the VLAN its connected to, but with a static IP I can connect fine. The interface for the SSID is configured correctly on the 5508, but just will not grab an IP.

I can only think on the advanced tab for the SSID 4 on port 5 without the "DHCP Addr. Assignment = REQUIRED checked" or Controller --- > Interface --- > DHCP Information --- > Primary DHCP Server = empty.
