I have searched the knowledge base to try to understand if this was something already answered.
Unfortunately, I cannot find a suitable answer.
I have WLC5508 with soft version 8.0.115.0 and some mobile phones cannot connect. Most of them are Android phones.
I grabbed one of the phones to test it and the phone stays with the network "saved" and never connects.
On the logs of the WLC, I can see two different messages regarding this MAC/issue:
*apfMsConnTask_6: Apr 21 13:46:42.772: #APF-4-ASSOCREQ_PROC_FAILED: apf_80211.c:6320 Failed to process an association request from 20:02:af:41:13:cf. WLAN:1, SSID:Radisson_Guest. Send DeAuth To Client.
*dot1xMsgTask: Apr 21 13:46:24.363: #LOG-4-Q_IND: apf_80211.c:6320 Failed to process an association request from 20:02:af:41:13:cf. WLAN:1, SSID:Radisson_Guest. Send DeAuth To Client.
I have checked online and my timeouts are longer than 5 minutes, the device was rebooted, forget network, etc - the basic.
Also, the MAC is not on the excluded list... This is also happening with some other devices.
Any idea?
