Is there a way to not require https and a certificate for web passthrough this way when clients are redirected they do not get the certificate error?

just disable HTTPS and SSH on the WLC and reload the WLC.
in that way you should get the web passthrought as http only.

Disable HTTPS on the WLC.. However, disabling HTTPS is a global config, this wil disable HTTPS access to the device as well!!
Lemme know if this answered ur question!!

YOu need to use caution with this as has been said if you disable HTTPS it is global
and your management sessions will only be via telnet and guest logins will then be in the clear which may not fit with your security policy

Thank you ever one, agree with every one and yes I realized after disabling it it was disabling it completely even access to the WLC etc. I do not want that. So I rather just keep and get a cert. Thank you every one.
