WLC 5520 & GLC-T SFP

Has anyone ever had any issues with the compatibility of using GLC-T SFP's in the ports 1 or 2 of the management ports ? i've tried multiple GLC-Ts with fail even though TAC have suggested they will be compatible.

If you want to use a 1 Gbps optics in a 5520/8540 you will need to pay a "blood tax" of a GLC-SX-MM. 

Put a GLC-SX-MM into port 1 and the GLC-T should work in port 2.

Refer the above link. You need a GLC-TE in port 1 so GLC-SX-MMD connected to port 2 will work.
