WLC 5520 - ventilator

Hello,
I believe that there could be some problem with my ventilators on one of mine WLC-s.

One of them keeps spinning vents at 100% every once in a while?

Around every 10 minutes it spins them for 5-10 seconds at 100%. It's not a reboot, WLC is working properly.

This one is working good. No vents to 100%

This other one, having those problems: (it has even lower temperature)

Thanks!

Hi, you need to update the code on the second WLC into the 8.5 train. There is a known bug related to older code that will cause the fans to run constantly (from memory I cannot remember what code we had that was affected). I had a ticket open with TAC for the same reason and they advised an upgrade to 8.5

Regards

Agree with Mikey had a bug in a version where the FANs would spin up for no reason.

The TAC recommended software versions are found here:
