Gents
i need CTS inline-tagging enabled on the uplinks of my HA SSO 9800-L-F. sources i found so far referred me to jumbo enablement on the UCS-hosting platform (expectedly using CIMC access :0). failed to find how to access UCS's CIMC on 9800-L-F though :0)
Any hints/clues/ideas pls?

well... conclusion from quick TAC case:
Jumbo frames are still not fully supported on the 9800 platform . It will be in one of the future releases.
We have filed two enhancement requests for this :
CSCuy53203 – To implement jumbo MTU payload support for the controller
CSCvs83018 – To remove the configurable option in the AP join profile on code that will not support jumbo frames to avoid confusion with customers. Enabling it in the ap join profile config does nothing.

As a follow up on this, TAC saying jumbos supported as of 17.6
Edit: I tried enabling it, found that it still doesn't work, so I made a new TAC case where they told me they spoke to a principal engineer about this and that it's still not supported.
Seems ridiculous, looks like ArubaOS supports jumbos between APs and controller so not sure why 9800 still doesn't even in 17.9.

Thanks for following up and posting the conclusion.

unfortunately I had to edit my last response based on new info from TAC, seems both TAC and the documentation writers are confused about this feature. Jumbos in AP profiles are also still in the 9800 17.9 config guide. . .
