WLC 9800 Upgrade for GUI Vulnerablity

Hello,

Our WLC cannot be accessed from the Internet. Is it mandatory to upgrade the WLC to the recommended version since we cannot disable the Http/HTTPS access unlike a switch. Please advise.

No - that is your choice. However it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to upgrade or implement appropriate mitigation. Internal "bad actors" could exploit the vulnerability even if the WLC cannot be accessed from the internet. Refer to
