WLC 9800 web ui login banner not aligned

Does this bother anyone else? That there's an unnecessary indentation before the login banner on the web ui that isn't there in the CLI?
I've been through about 5 different IOS versions and am now on the latest 17.12.3 and it's still there.

No, we require the banner on all devices.  It's a corporate IT policy.  It's just a graphical inconsistency.

When HTTP authentication is configured using TACACS+/RADIUS, the banner message does not display on the Web <<- from cisco doc.

Just open a TAC case so they can document that for a fix for now.  What if you add a line and start your text on the second line and also add am empty line on the bottom just to even things out?

So I tried that.

And there was no visual change.  It appears that the WLC trims out the extra lines.

Seems like the only way to make it look nice is to do something like this, but might look different on various browsers or mobile devcies.

Our banner is crazy long and it drove me crazy trying to fix it. I was embarrassed to show my lead the banner until he said I don't care if it looks good , we just need it to be there. Haven't noticed my banner since then

I must admit I had not even noticed it and ours is also crazy long and required to follow a specific template so already looks a mess anyway.  And like @comenyi1 as long as it's there is all that matters for us even if it doesn't look great.
A bit puzzled that according to CSCwj82407 banner shouldn't work at all with TACACS configured but it does work so that's probably just another bug which has not been updated with the fixed versions!

But good news @stonent01 it does seem to be fixed in 17.15.2 so you can look forward to that <smile>  And bonus - it seems to respect the blank lines now too!
