I am trying to configure a WLC4404 to use IAS as it's radius server but am not having much luck. I have configured one before to use ACS, but this time only have access to an IAS server. TAC said that while it is incompatible it is not supported and they cannot give any guidance on the MS side. I've seen several posts on here mentioning a working configuration of WLC and IAS so I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction to get the MS side configured correctly.

Adam,
Are you looking to do EAP to the IAS? If so, you need to change the service type from framed to login. This is service type 6, and the WLC is sending it as a login. This should be in the Remote Access Policy, edit your profile, then on the Advanced Tab, edit the service type to be Login. I have this working in my lab for PEAP, and have no issues logging in.

I've done this sucessfully with EAP-PEAP MS-CHAP about 3 days ago.
Check out the attached Power Point and see if it helps.
Try this link out as well.

Did you ever get this working? I have also been working on setting up a WLAN to IAS Radius. Like you I have not had much luck. I am curious to hear any tips that may have helped you along the way.
