hi all,
i am using WLC 4400.is there any kind of mechanism so that when an AP goes off, i will get alert on mail or sms on phone?
kindly sugest.

no with only a WLC.
the WLC will send snmp trap/syslog.
If you have the WCS, you can configure emails for such alerts then.
