Hi all,
I have a Controller with software version 7.2.111.3 and Field recovery image version 6.0.182.0. I want to upgrade my controller software to 8.0.133.0 and FUS to 1.9 version. Now my question is what should I upgrade first, Is it FUS or Software?
FUS 1.9 tells that it upgrades Field recovery image from 7.0.121.21 to 7.6.101.1. So if I upgrade my controller software first to 8.0.133.0, is it going to bring the Field recovery image to the required version?

When I upgraded the WLC's, I was instructed to upgrade FUS and then upgrade the WLC software version. I worked out well for me.

Thanks for the quick reply. But based on the above scenario, FUS 1.9 will upgrade Field recovery image from 7.0.121.21 to 7.6.101.1. I have 6.0.182.0 on the Controller. So I am not sure if I have to upgrade to FUS 1.7 first and then to FUS 1.9.

It looks like the FUS 1.9 will upgrade the Field recovery image to 7.6.101.1 regardless of WLCs previous version.

If you have 7.4 or above you require to upgrade FUS 1.9 & go for the latest. You can do the process either way, FUS first or WLC software first.
