WLC H-Reap VLAN mapping

Hi

We currently have a Cisco 5508 WLC  controller with several AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9  access points.

I have setup the access point to operate under H-Reap mode.

The local LAN vlan is 10 and the wifi vlan is 635.

I have changed the VLAN Mapping on the H-Reap tab for each AP to be 635.

For some reason every morning the vlan mapping reverts back to the local VLAN 10 and i have to manually change it back to vlan 635.

Can you please advise as to what could cause this issue.

many thanks

Hi,

Is there another WLC somewhere on the network with different configuration that the APs are failing over to at night?

Thanks

Double-check the configuration between the WLCs.

All the WLCs in the mobility group need WLANs in the same order (WLAN ID). Also make sure that the AP Groups are identical. It happens due to the configuration not being completely the same even though it may seem to be at first glance.
