Hi community,
I have 2 X7510 controllers and both are managing some part of the wireless network, now we have planned to merge them into an HA SSO pair. below is how I am planning to do it, please advice if you have a better way.
current IPs on controller
controller 1 - X.X.Y.230, manages 900 APs
controller 2 - X.X.Y.231, manages 900 APs
Planned HA IPs
controller 1 - X.X.Y.230, manages 1800 APs (Primary)
controller 1 redundancy IP - X.X.Y.232
controller 2 - X.X.Y.231 (HA)
controller 2 redundancy IP - X.X.Y.233
Planned Steps
1. backup configs on both controllers.
2. shutdown controller 2 (All APs on controller 2 will automatically migrate on controller 1)
3. disable AP fallback on controller 1 (currently there is no primary or secondary configured on the APs so as soon as controller 2 comes back up APs will move back to controller 2)
4. configure redundancy IP, Peer IP, role as primary on controller 1
5. connect back to back redundancy port
6. boot controller2, configure redundancy IP, Peer IP, role as secondary on controller 2
7. Enable AP SSO on both.
** both controllers are on same code and their are enough licenses**
looking forward to your response.

I was sure, but it doesn't hurt to take a second opinion from many experts on this forum, there is always a way to improvise, anyways everything went smooth.
Thanks.
