WLC Hreap

Hi ,

I will expose my question and hope that anyone can help me.

I have actually one 5508 code 6.0.196.0. and I about 13 1142 aps. How can i maintain my wireless resource (ssid, etc.) even if the wlc get broken?

Could i use Hreap locally for this purpose?

Hello,

yes , you can use the AP in H-ERAP + under WLAN advance select H-REAP local switching.

note: this will make all the client traffic switched locally on the switch interface conencted to AP.

note there are specific authentication types can be processed when AP disconnected (in standalone).
