WLC Not Remembering Sleeping Clients

Hello,

I am using a Cisco WLC 9800 L running 17.9.3. I am attempting to set up LWA. Everything is working well in the tests I have conducted, except for the WLC is failing to remember the MAC addresses of sleeping clients. As soon as a client disconnects from the network and reconnects, they are asked to login again. I have sleeping client status turned on and set to the max value of 43200 minutes. Is there anything that can cause this to happen?

  - You may have a configuration checkup review of the 9800 controller with the CLI command show tech wireless ; have the output analyzed with https://cway.cisco.com/wireless-config-analyzer/
     For the clients use debugging as described in https://logadvisor.cisco.com/logadvisor/wireless/9800/9800ClientConnectivity , you can have client debugs processed with https://cway.cisco.com/wireless-debug-analyzer/  , this could provide insights according to the behavior observed ,
