WLC Rebooting issue

Hello,

I have a WLC 2504 loaded with firmware 8.5 and 14 APs connected to it.

The WLC randomly reboots daily at no specific intervals.

Here's the reason why the WLC keeps reboot -- Unstable power source.

Yes, sorry it is the same WLC.

Thanks, will try to change the power adaptor.

Wut?

That is not what I said.

Investigate the power outlet the power supply is drawing power from or put the power supply behind a UPS.

The device is already behind a clean power UPS in our Server room.
There are already various device on the same DPU.

 - Configure a syslog server, to send logs too, follow  up on operational logs being reported during (still) normal times , sometimes indicators can be found as to why the device reboots in the end or after a while.

A hardware fault could also show as "Power on reset" so you might find you need to replace the hardware.

Rarely even a software fault could show that.

You AireOS version is very old - consider upgrade depending on whether your APs are supported.
