Hi All
We have a WLAN interface located on a WLC 4400 series device.
The WLAN interface that we have in place is configured with MAC address filtering; all is good at this point - This has been in production for a while now.
Now, we would like to get rid of the interface and associated mac addresses.
We have perhaps 200 mac address entries configured to authenticate.
I can see that it is possible to remove the mac addresses one by one - and via command line using the following command
> config macfilter delete <mac address>
I can also remove the mac addresses one by one via GUI - this is all good - but very laborious and long winded - can you guys please advise on how I can remove the MAC addresses in Bulk?
I dont know - perhaps I can click a select all button somewhere - or maybe somehow export that list to csv and then tell the WLC to delete all mac address entries in that file?
Thanks for all your help guys.
All the best.
Regards

You should be able to list all your Mac filters from the CLI. From there you can paste that into excel and then have a formula generate the command that includes the Mac address. That is usually how I generate commands for the CLI.

If I have 1 SSID applied to multiple interfaces, when doing mac-address filtering on WLC, can I simply choose interface as NONE to only add one time for each MAC address to join this SSID?
Or i need to add this MAC address multiple times for each interfaces?
Thanks

Export the config file to notepad, delete(copy/paste to new notepad and paste on required WLC) all the mac addresses, import back to WLC.
