Hai All,

Currently, I am using WLC 5508 and WAP 2800 and 2700, for 5508 will end support in 2023. What WLC support for WAP 2800 and 2700 series which EOSL is still over 2023? whether WLC C9800 series support both wap?

Thank you,

Note that 17.3 goes end of software maintenance and end of security vulnerability support in 2023 too https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/ios-nx-os-software/ios-xe-17/ios-xe-17-3-x-eol.html so if you use that it should only be a transition step and you should be prepared to upgrade to 17.9.3 when that comes out - expected sometime in the next month.  Depending on your urgency you might prefer to wait for 17.9.3 and go with that.  Note that that old AP support is being added to 17.9 purely to assist with migrations to 9800 and you should assume that it will end in 17.9.  I've seen speculation that Cisco might extend that to 17.12 but that is very unlikely in my opinion given that 1700/2700/3700 are Last Date of Support: April 30, 2024
