WLSE 1105 and Disk 99% full (/var)

Because the /var is 99% full, I have problems with taking backup.

I have also problems with login into the web-page.

I’m authenticated, but then I get: User Role is empty.

Do any one know hove to delete some files from /var,??

Looks like you're running into CSCsa29682. You'll need to use the recovery CD to re-image the box to fix this.

From the command line of the WLSE you can issue the "clearvar" command. That will delete all log files from the /var directory.

I have tried the ClearVAR, but it still goes up and down from 40MB to 1MB.

The other problem is that the backup is a little old, and the backup command dos not work. I think its because of the space on the /VAR.

Did you ever get this issue resolved?? I just installed a WLSE 2.11 and I was wondering how much ongoing maintenance there is such as disk space, purging logs, etc..
