WLSE 2.7 identifies 1200 with 802.11g as 802.11a

Hi,

I just configured a WLSE for out 5 APs. All APa are 1200. Four of them with .g radio and one with .b radio.

The WLSE identifies 3 of the 4 .g radios as .a with strange implications: In the location manager the correct channel in the 2.4GHz range are shown but coverage is shown for 5GHz.

Any ideas what went wrong?

It's a problem with the IOS on the AP itself and not with WLSE. For "g" radios the AP must be running 12.2(15)JA or later. Other wise it will be shown as "a" radio.
