WLSE does not import full list of switches.

For rogue detection, I would like to be able to import all my switches on the network, we currently have over 400 with a mix of 3550's and 2950's. The way I see it you can only import switches on the network that have a wireless device hooked to it. So out of our 400+ switches only 45 of them end up in WLSE. The problem we have is if a rogue is detected it will shut off a port on the cisco switch that could be a feed port to another swicth, insted of a single port on the switch the rogue is hooked to. Is there any way to import them all, or is this a bug? I am running WLSE vers 2.9.

This is the way it works. From: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cwparent/cw_1105/wlse/2_9/u_gd/devices.htm#wp1620260

"The WLSE can discover Cisco wireless access points and bridges, and Cisco switches or routers that have Cisco wireless devices attached to them"

Yeah I called cisco on this and was told the same. Just didnt make sense that it woulnt take all swicthes on the network. So if I use rogue detection, and it sees a rogue on a switch not in WLSE it will shut off the feed port to that switch, if it is connected to a switch that is in WLSE, killing everyone insted of just the rogue AP. Not what I wanted to happen :(

They said they are working on it, hope a update comes out soon.
