Is it possible for a workgroup bridge to roam from one AP to another with 8 devices behind the bridge? Is there a performance degradation when this is done (i.e. does it take a long time for the devices to re-associate to the new AP)?
Not having a WGB here, I can only guess, but I would say you should watch the impact of re-establishing all of those sessions - even if the WGB is happy, your applications may not be.
