Xbox 360 on 3802E

Level 3

I have an Xbox 360 that will not connect to wireless.

Cisco 3802E running Mobility Express 8.10.105.0

I have reset the AP to factory defaults and configured only the minimum amount of settings and it still will not connect.

I don't see any way to get logs out of the AP and certainly not going to get any of out the Xbox.

I see it attempt to associate to the AP for a moment but then it disconnects (see attached screen shot).

Another weird thing to mention is a do see a device type of "Xbox" under the "Active Interferers" section of the AP.

Not sure if this is what is causing the issues.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks!

What happens if the SSID is open authentication?

My bad, just saw your post Leo:)

`tis OK.  All good.  :)

Open SSID works but it negotiated 802.11b.

Crank it up: Enable PSK and see if the xbox joins or not.

Updated to 8.10.112.0 and it appears to be working, albeit in 802.11b mode.

I think it may be related to this bug: https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvs63543

Current 2.4GHz channel is 11. I don't remember what it was before.

Interesting, that release is officially not out yet ;) Assuming you don't have a typo in the version number, then this is good for you.
Otherwise here would be the current beta release (albeit older than a 8.10.112.0, which would probably be the final release):
