We have a 10G dark fiber link between an ASR 9K router and an ASR 920 that are in neighboring buildings - there is no active devices in the path, just patchpanels. We are using SFP-10G-LR SFP+ modules.
On both sides the Rx power is around -7
On the ASR 920 it shows the circuit as up, up.
On the ASR 9K side they are seeing the circuit flapping and are receiving the following error:
LC/0/0/CPU0:Aug 9 13:19:28.311 : vic[373]: %PLATFORM-VIC-4-RFI : Interface TenGigE0/0/2/2, Detected Remote Fault
What can cause this issue?
