5th Gen LC A9K-4HG-FLEX-FC supported on 3rd Gen RSP A9K-RSP880-LT-SE?

Hi,

is the 5th generation linecard A9K-4HG-FLEX-FC supported on the route switch processor A9K-RSP880-LT-SE in ASR9910 chassis with 3x SFC-S installed?

This link says SFC-S is compatible with A9K-4HG and A9K-8HG linecards:

But this links says A9K-RSP880-LT-SE is only compatible with A9K-8HG, but not with A9K-4HG:

This doesn't make sense to me. Why is the A9K-8HG supported on RSP880-LT, while the A9K-4HG is not supported?

Might someone clarify, please?

Short answer is that the A9K-4HG-FLEX-FC is compatible with your chassis ASR9910 with A9K-RSP880-LT-SE:

The A9K-RSP880-LT-SE is also supported in the ASR9910. Same for the A99-SFC-S which support the A99-4HG-FLEX-FC:

The A9K-4HG-FLEX-FC supported since 7.4.1. Consider that LightSpeed Plus line cards shipped with the FCM model will be the corresponding SE version (A9K-4HG-FLEX-SE in this case):
