ASR 9000 Disk Overload with core.txt or core.gz

We'd like to clean up the disk space, but first we want to make sure that these files aren't important ?

This is the kind of file that uses our disk

 1983 -rw-r--r--. 1   191098 Nov 25  2023 mibd_entity_12458.by.6.20231125-000640.xr-vm_node0_RSP0_CPU0.c03f0.core.txt

 1868 -rw-r--r--. 1 18343722 Oct 11  2023 mibd_entity_32110.by.6.20231011-075747.xr-vm_node0_RSP0_CPU0.c03f0.core.gz

How to stop these files from re-saturating the disk ?

those are process crash files for mibd_entity from 2023, these are pretty old and should be able to be deleted

you can confirm with "show process mibd_entity" to see how long the process has been running and when it last crashed
if it has crashed recently it would require more investigation

thanks
