Hi!
We have four ASR9006 (A9K-RSP440-TR) boxes. All of them have 4.3.4 version of XR. We want to upgrade them.
1. What new version of XR you recomended for out RSP?
2. As i know, version 4.3.4 has porblem with old css certificate (CSCut52232). So, what method for upgrade XR you recomended: through install PIE or through ROMMON?

I don't think with RSP440 , you can load 642 , so 633 will be the latest to deploy based on your show platform. Please have a look @ https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/asr-9000-series-aggregation-services-routers/eos-eol-notice-c51-737819.pdf

As the delta is significant ( Skipping 5xx and going to last release of 63x ) , I recommend testing the upgrade first by upgrade method and if it fails , we can try turboboot ( if acceptable to the Customer for such a downtime ) before deploying it
FPD versions can sometimes become a gating factor and lab testing the upgrade can take care of it.
And as Bryan Garland suggested , please have a look at https://community.cisco.com/t5/service-providers-documents/ios-xr-release-strategy-and-deployment-recommendation/ta-p/3165422

Trident cards are only supported until 5.3.4
Typhoon cards can run higher code
Tomahawk cards can run 64bit xr
without knowing what cards you have in the system it is difficult to say
64bit requirements
In general you can upgrade to the highest EMR release which is 642
Thanks

Release 6.2.3 or Release 6.3.3 are good choices as both are Extended Maintenance Releases.
6.3.3 was FCSed yesterday.
