Hi Community,
I am facing the following log message on an ASR 9010 router running Cisco IOS XR Software, Version 6.4.2
%ROUTING-FIB-3-UPD_MSG_TOO_BIG : attribute ID: 0xB81C, size: 7764, data: 5FFFFFFFF3286C00000002000000000000016B37FFFFFFE57FFFFFFFC80000001469705F6267705F617474725F7269625F62616700000306FFFFFF870000000200FFFFFFAE52FFFFFFD100FFFFFFAE561600000000000007FFFFFF8400000002000000FFFFFFE1000000000000000000000000000000FFFFFFAE0000000000000000 not distributed to FIB, too big to fit IPC buffer, 7771 > 5821
This log appeared twice and with no other log/message/error following it.
There is not much information on Cisco Docs for this issue so I am opening a discussion if any one encountered this message.
Any information would be highly appreciated
Thanks in advance
BR

What code are you on?
Are you using 'bgp attribute-download'?
Thanks,
Sam

Hi,
Thanks for replying.
Currently IOS XR Software, Version 6.4.2 is running on this router.
And yes 'bgp attribute-download' is enabled on the BGP configuration.

Please open a TAC case, this is likely a new iteration of CSCvf45424.
Thanks,
Sam
