Hello.
I'm trying to figure out how to do this. We have an ASR9k that has some gear off of it, in which I assigned a /28 to it. A 4948e is uplinked to this ASR9k. I'm trying to have the gear that is connected to the ASR be able to pull DHCP addresses within that /28 that I assigned to it.
My thought was to setup a pool on the 4948e with that small block, and then on the ASR, add a helper for that BVI, but I'm not sure how to do this, if this is even a viable solution. I may have the pool configured incorrectly or maybe the helper on the ASR (Lo0 of 4948e?).
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Shouldn't be a problem. There is also the possibility of running the DHCP server directly on the ASR9K. If this doesn't work for you, please include the relevant configuration and debug.

Well the ideal thing would be to setup a pool on the ASR itself but I can't figure that out? From my understanding, it's not possible.
With the the setup of the 4948 as the server, I just can't seem to get it to work. I'm on my phone now but will post configuration later.
Thanks.
