Hi all,
We have a problem with policy deletion:
no policy-map type control subscriber IP_PM_PLAIN
!!% Object is in use: Policy-map "IP_PM_PLAIN" of type "subscriber_control" is being used by 1 nodes. Delete failed.
The policy-map is not being referenced anywhere (it was, but we removed all references). Still deletion of the policy-map fails.
This is our IOS XR version:
Cisco IOS XR Software, Version 5.2.4[Default]
Is it a bug like CSCtn18457?
Thank you!

hi Orkhan,
were all subscriber sessions that were using that policy cleared?
The bug that you were referincing was specific to QoS policies and it was a timing issue (i.e. after some time the removal was successful).

Aleksandar

Hi Alexander,
Thank you for the contribution. All subscriber sessions were cleared of course, but policy removal was still unsuccessful. However, this did prove to be a timing issue, because we were able to delete the policy the next day. Very strange resolution, but better than nothing!
Regards,
Orkhan.
