I configured L3 VPN over TE tunnels and all sessions was established but

I don't know how to direct traffic to tunnel-te in IOS XR.

I have all tunnels between PEs so I don't use LDP.

I also have not found any examples MPLS L3 VPN (IOS XR). Maybe someone know where do I find it?

who know how to direct traffic from VoIP VRF to Tunnel TE?

Thanks

Tomasz

Hello Tomasz,

To run L3VPN over non mpls enabled core weā€™d need to use TEoGRE or MPLSoGRE

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/asr9000/software/asr9k_r4.3/lxvpn/configuration/guide/vcasr9kv3gre.html

Note, this functionally is only supported since 4.3.0 and only on Enhanced Ethernet Line Cards and SPA Interface Processor-700.

I added autoroute announce to both tunnels but it doesn't work.

I resoved problem I had to enter "mpls ldp" command in global config and my core is only TE-based.

This command enable  switching(MPLS-MPLS) and routing(IP to the TE tunnel) even if I doesn't use LDP.

It is very strange and it is not anywhere describe.

Good to hear you found the solution.

For MPLS TE LDP has to be enabled globally ('mpls ldp' command). This is required in order to allocate local labels even in RSVP (MPLS TE) only core. No interfaces have to be specified if the core is LDP free.

We have a request to document it properly
