I'm trying to take an NCS5501-SE from 663 to 7.x. First ran into the issue that ncs5500-eigrp is no longer present, at least not in the early 7.x releases which I'm required to go to as an intermediate. Fortunately I don't use EIGRP. I deactivate it, and then try removing it, but am prevented from doing so because it's committed. How do I make it uncommitted when it's already inactive?

Thanks; the install commit in between the deactivation was what I didn't know to perform.

For those that are curious the eigrp package is not officially supported on the ncs5500 platform, we only delivered it for a single release and that is the only release where eigrp is supported, we may consider adding support for another release or going forward but at this time this is little to no demand for it. Apologies for the confusion this caused when upgrading.

At the very least it seems to be in both 6.6.3 and 7.5.2, didn't check others.

Interesting, I haven't followed the saga of eigrp that closely, but the last time I checked in on it we weren't actively publishing that package on cisco.com for the 5500. It was a one off at the time of 6.6.3 and there were ongoing discussions of what to do with it when some customers needed to upgraded.
