interface issues after upgrade asr9k to 7.9.21

Hi,

I upgraded asr9k with RSP5/4HG-FLEX to 7.9.21

Following the upgrade the interfaces came back up and traffic is flowing normally, adjacencies are up etc..

However the interface LEDs on the linecard are lightning RED regardless of whether the interface is UP or DOWN

of course this is not correct and i suspect a cosmetic, even if very annoying issue

has anyone upgraded to 7.9.21 and also observed this issue

Seen this before on OLD version code

Some cases  - Port is enabled, but there is a link loss or SFP/XFP failure. (but you mentioned all working as expected)

So Open a TAC case to investigate for you.
