IOS XR upgrade from 5.1.3 to 5.3.3 fails

Hi,

While trying to upgrade IOS XR from 5.1.3 to 5.3.3 , I am getting the following error.

Please find the below error which we are finding while  activating the 5.3.3 mini pie file.

Hi Nimmi,

Your missing the 5.3.3 pies for the following packages: video, 901, 903, asr9000v, doc, li, bng, services, fpd, mgbl, mcast, k9. You may have already added them, i don't see your install add log, send a show install inactive summary. If you've added them already, just do the following:

admin install activate *5.3.3*.

So you need to add the other pies like you did with the mini, that said, unless your doing BNG, CGN, NV Satellite, OTN, etc.. you probably don't need all of them. To save disk space and ease your upgrade for the future, deactivate the ones your not using. If you don't want to do that, then do an install add of the pies, and do an activate of all of them again including the mini.

it should be like this:

Install add disk0:/<name of the tar>.. 

Pay attention to the forward slash in disk0:/

So if your tar file name is 5.3.3.tar it would be

admin install add disk0:/5.3.3.tar

After copying the tar file, there is no single file with tar extn , but many files . I was trying to install each.
