Ahmed Ash

greeting

after upgrading the RSP from 440 to 880 and rebooting the device i had an issue where one of MPA started showing disabled

A9K-MPA-4X10GE DISABLED NPWR,NSHUT,MON

which was working normally before the reboot.

after changing the MPA to another LC its working normally so the issue appears in the sub LC slot whatever MPA inserted will be disabled

some logs

Hi Ahmed,

have you tried reloading the entire LC1 and seeing if the MPA comes back online?

based on your troubleshooting you tried the MPA in another router and it is working.

Thanks

I tried OIR for the mod80 which the MPA was inserted, reloading the whole chase after FPD upgrade.
still showing disabled

Hi Ahmed,

do you have another MPA, just to check if that slot is good?

thanks

yup i tried another MPA showing disabled as well

Hi Ahmed,

i would suggest opening a tac case, seems like a faulty slot. not sure why the upgrade triggered it
