As long as your fans are between 4230 and 10070 the fans are in a normal operating range. How fast they spend is dependent upon the temperature of the environment / router. The fans can go above 10070 or below 4230 but that indicates an issue with the environment that should be addressed. When this happens the router will raise an alarm message.

Fan speed is dependent upon which fan trays are used in the 9010, the temperature of the router, and what the altimeter is set to. As well if you only have one fan tray inserted this will affect the speed as well as it has to do more work.
Both 9010s are within normal range.

Hi Sam
Is there some kind of parameter that defines which one should be the normal operation range (RPM) of the fan in ASR9010, before trigger an alarm?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Show environment table should have these values listed.

Thanks Sam, please let me to know how should I interpret the Major (Lo) threshold? the router shows 4230 as Low for Major.
