SMU "on top" of a service pack.

Hey,

with ios-xr 4.3.4 i was told that i should avoid installing SMU´s on top of a service pack. Is that still the case with ios-xr 5.x.x ?

It's still the same on 5.x and above.

But, you can install a SMU on top of SP if the SMU does not have "os-mbi". Open the readme file of the package and check if "os-mbi" is there. If not than you can install the SMU.
