Hi,
I need to enable automatic call answering on a particular extension using the Cisco Finesse API. I once found on these forums that it was possible, but I can't find the post or answer anymore. Is my assumption correct?

Could you please clarify: are you using FIPPA service or Finesse desktop?
Generally auto-answer setting can be configured in CCE agent desk settings or CUCM.

I'm using Finesse desktop, but in the document of Cisco Finesse API Webservice I remember using a option for activate auto-answer an extension.

Hi Isaac,
Apparently there is no such option in Finesse API Webservices.
Alternatively, we can try this - have a workflow created in cfadmin, trigger that when a call arrives, and define action as REST PUT request to /finesse/api/Dialogs/<dialogId> to answer the call with the extension.
But, this workflow can be assigned only to a team, may not be possible to apply for a specific extension.
