Is there any workaround for bug CSCvb31331 running ISE version 2.1.0.474. beside upgrading? Are there any patches for version 2.1.0.474 to workaround the issue?
This enhancement should also apply to all other Cisco user based platforms (e.g. Prime Infra).
Also, it would be nice to know what is the step in the resolution path and when it should start to move so we know when and what to expect.

I have a first gen VCS Expressway and according to the release notes, I cannot upgrade to 8.9. Upgrading to 8.9 is listed in the bug as a fix. Is there something I can do to fix this on my first gen device?
